Clooney Soccer School

At Clooney Soccer School our ethos is to promote football in a fun way and encourage children to enjoy sports, eat well and adopt a healthy active lifestyle.

CSS was set up in March 2009 by 3 local coaches that wanted to set up a soccer school that provided a high level of soccer coaching and help develop youth soccer in the L-Derry area.
All coaches at CSS are IFA accredited coaches who use their time and dedication for the love of football and its beneficial effects in promoting a healthy lifestyle, encouraging children to eat healthily and stay fit, and in building stronger communities.

Obesity is currently growing at the fastest rate ever recorded in Britain.
It is a sad fact that children simply do not get involved in after school clubs etc. and are becoming a computer game and television bound society. We hope that we can at least do our part in our community to prevent this from happening and get children outside away from the T.V., exercising, learning about healthy lifestyles and above all having fun with other children.

Our aim at Clooney Soccer School is to encourage children in our communities of L-Derry and surrounding area to enjoy playing football and living a healthy lifestyle.
